  3. ensure that training was taken in an EU country other than the one where the person concerned lives is recognized in their country of residence, and make the Directive clearer and easier to understand.
  4. Parliament also decided to establish an electronic exchange system for drivers’ qualifications. This helps EU countries to recognize training taken in any other EU country. It is also useful to enforcement authorities.

However, in Africa and Nigeria in particular; the government in here has not done so much in line with establishing concepts, ideas and strategies around creating policies to improve how persons become professional drivers, or even concerned with how they fare when executing their duties has professional drivers.
