Lagos Ports Expect 36 Ships Conveying Petrol and Other Goods


The Apapa and Tin-Can Island, Lagos ports are expected to start receiving petroleum products, food items and other goods. A total of 36 ships are expected by the Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA) from December 6th-29th.


The NPA disclosed this on Thursday in its daily publication ‘Shipping Position’ released to newsmen in Lagos.

Reports coming from the News Agency of Nigeria say that six of the 36 ships with contain petrol.

The rest of the ships would convey ethanol, aviation fuel, steel, diesel, sugar and containers with different goods.

16 ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, general containers and petrol, the NPA said.
